Fender American Standard Precision ('08)

I have a Charcoal Frost Metallic/RW board '08 Fender Precision Bass purchased NOS in December 2010. This bass is cherry and a great player. The reason I'm selling is strictly financial.

She has only been gigged once and looks brand new. If you hold it up to the light at the right angle you may see some small surface marks but thats about it. Includes OHSC and case candy.

This is the '08 model with all the new improvements.

The only modification I made is to put in a Rio Grande Vintage P-bass pick up which is a great upgrade from stock with all the growl and punch you'd expect.

Price is $875 shipped CONUS to your door.

I had a BWB pickguard on for a while, but now she has the original WBW guard back on. Will include the BWB guard with sale.

Whoever gets this bass will be very happy and I will be sad to see her go.

Yes the black pickguard does come with it. I haven't had a chance to weigh her yet but I know she's lighter than my previous p that was 9.5 lbs. I'll weigh her tonight when I get home. Also price drop to $900 shipped CONUS!

Free bump, love the color, looks good with any color pickguard, I had one with vintage aged pearloid, looked killer. These are among the best basses Fender ever made. Good luck with the sale!

I have gotten some trade inquiries. I really need to cash out otherwise I would not be selling, however I will consider partial trades for an RS212 or RS 112 plus cash.

For the RS 112 I would subtract $225 from the price.

For the RS 212 I would subtract $325 from the price.

I know I know...finances are finances. Best of luck with the sale. I wish I could buy this...once you're bitten with the P bass bug, there's just nothing else like it!
