Fender AVRI 62 Precision Bass - Olympic White

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got this from D Bopp. I had been looking for an Olympic White forever but after having this with my Fullerton I realized that the two were pretty much identical sound wise so I am going to get something perhaps non-Precisiony. The sale is very tentative as I love Olympic White and they are pretty tough to find in this color.

This is a 2006 and is in pretty much perfect condition minus some very minor finish wear around the neckplate. Very light, my guess is around 8.5lbs. Come with a tweed case and covers. $1000 shipped and Paypal'd. No trades please.

I added more photos per request.

The streaks on the neckplate are reflections.

Sweet basses. I played a US62'RI back to back with a vintage 63' P, it was the best of all the vintage 60's Ps that I played at the store, an the RI stood up to he 63'.

The tone on this one is pretty much identical to my Fullerton and it is super light. The US reissues are IMO the best production bass that Fender makes.

As a previous owner, I can say it is a killer bass. I have an 82 Fullerton as well and the tone is identical. Whoever buys it will be very happy.

I'm not really needing a trade right now but I have my eye on something I want to purchase so I will be take a reasonable offer.

I played that very bass a time or three. It is really quite lovely and in terrific shape. I seem to be on a red-bass-buying-binge or I'd be tempted to increase the fleet.
