Fender Classic 60's Jazz - Seymour Duncan Antiquity II

Sign in to disble this ad
Fender Classic 60's Jazz bass, sunburst/rosewood, MIM 2002. Has its share of dings, true player wear, nothing terrible. Sounds better than my other Jazzes, but I need to thin the herd, and burst is not my favorite color.

Upgrades:
Seymour Duncan Antiquity II pickups
Graphtech Tusq nut
Fender tort pickguard

Weight I would estimate at 9.5 pounds. DR Sunbeams still in good shape + budget gigbag.

Lots of pics:

$580 $525 shipped continental US, Paypal only, no trades, thank you!

How are those Antiquity IIs?
I have a P/J Antiquity II set that I am probably going to be used but haven't decided yet.

I have two of these with Antiquity IIs, and they are great basses. I sold my 2008 MIA Jazz bass and kept these, because they sounded and played better, IMO. I also added Gotoh Res-o-lite direct replacement tuners, because I couldn't get used to the reverse tuners, so that's another upgrade option, for those who care. Good price, too. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Jeff. The Antiquities give it old-school Jazz bass tone. I don't know how else to describe it.

In fact, John Paul Jones called me thinking this was his bass.
