Fender Custom Classic Jazz: Upgraded with Aguilar OBP-3 & Fralin pickups: MUST SEE!

It is with great hesitation that I'm selling my Fender Custom Classic 4 string bass. I need to fund a family trip. It was made by the Fender Custom Shop in 2007 and is cosmetically in excellent condition. It has a few dents and nicks but none show up well in pictures. The upgrades put this bad boy in the same league as an NYC Sadowsky or Alleva Coppolo IMHO. This has one of the fastest necks I've ever played and the sound from this bass is thunderous and focused at the same time. It is definitely one of the most resonant basses I have owned. It oozes 60's vintage vibe when flat but can be ultra versatile with the available active eq.

Specs:
Unoficially weighs under 9lbs. (I'll weigh it tomorrow at UPS)
34" scale
Alder body finished in 3tsb nitrocellulose
Neck and fretboard are maple with block inlays
Aguilar OBP-3 18v onboard preamp (volume, pan, bass, treble, mid)
Lindy Fralin single coil pickups installed (original Fenders included)
Lightweight Fender custom tuners
Includes Original Fender C&G case
2007 certificate of authenticity (Fender Custom Shop)

Asking $**** firm or trade for something that will net me substantial cash.

Free Bump for this one!! I LOVE my Custom Classic....just incredible playing and sounding instruments...and I have the same maple neck with abalone Blocks....just an amazingly fast gorgeous neck....like butter baby. That bass is just gorgeous! I have always beleived from many years of experiences that basses finished in burst and trans finishes sound better and are more resonant. Someone buy the best $1500 bass you will ever lay hands on....trust me
