Fender Custom Shop Classic IV

This is hands down the best Fender I've ever played, and the best jazz bass I've ever played. The wood they used on this bass are just top shelf. The neck has a beautiful flame on the back and the rosewood fingerboard is the best piece of rosewood I've ever seen on a bass, just perfect. This bass is in excellent condition. The only flaw in this is that the original owner put the 70's bridge cover on and had holes drilled for it. Take a look at the picture, it was a pro job, but none the less they are there.

Now to the bonuses! This bass has Jason Lollar pickups in it and is passive. This is the reason I bought this bass in the first place. I didn't care too much for the fender preamp, or the noiseless pickups either. I play jazz basses because of the single coil growl and meat. This bass has it! Passive setup with the Lollar pickups just kills. The original pickups and preamp still come with the bass, so if you want to have the put back in, by all means, but you won't want to after you hear it.

Anyways, I'd like $1400 shipped to CONUS. This will go fast at this price with these upgrades!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. This really is a great playing bass and sounding. I was never a fender fan especially after having 2 and not liking them. But this one knocks it out of the park. I just have a craving for another nordy bass that is available.

It is a beauty. I love the neck shape on this thing too, even more so than my will lee. I love the modern C shape that fender does on it, its just very comfortable.

Lots of bites, but still available as nobody has pulled the trigger yet. I would be interested in trades, but only 4-string, and has to be under 8.5lbs. Thanks

This bass is back on the market. Deal fell through.
Someone take this off my hands before I decide to keep it.
I really do love this bass but I want to jump on getting an
ultalight bass.

No longer for sale, the Nordy sold, so this one stays for the time being.

I just had the bass in for a setup and a fresh set of elixir strings. This bad boy is ready to go. Up for grabs to the first person who shows me the money! I really want to move on buying another bass, so this thing needs to go!

Either this goes or the nordy goes, and it looks like the nordy may be going soon.
