Oh man oh man!

Johnmark, I REALLY wish that I could buy that Geddy back right now! You're killing me!

I used to own this bass a couple years ago. I added the dual Darkstars, Audere, one of the chrome thumbrests, and the black pickguard... this thing is the business!

Again,

All PMs answered. Still available.

Here are some pictures: http://www.idealtracks.com/gearpics/

I apologize for not cleaning the lint off the bass before taking the photos. There is not a single scratch chip or mark on the body as far as I know! The imperfections in the pic are fingerprint smudges and lint. It looks fantastic in person.

Thanks!

Any idea of how much the jazz weighs?

The Jazz weighs just under 10 lbs on my scale. I just lowered the price on it... this is a smoking bass for less than $1k!

Also, there is a Nuendo/RME Digiface on ebay right now with bids of $260 and it doesn't include the cards like mine does above...

And--have you seen an RBI sell for less on here?

Let's move this gear folks! Thanks.

Thanks for the bump willsellout! I agree the darkstars are awesome. I litterally thought i'd be buried with this bass. I almost can't stand to look at it now in it's sexiness since I feel like I've betrayed it!

PM's answered. The Audere preamp has stacked knobs with +/- controls for bass, mids, treble, and a sweepable knob for pickup selection and volume. Plus the 3-position Z-mode switch and battery indication LED. It is awesome with TONS of useable tones--from one extreme to the other.

I've had several nice trade offers, and while I appreciate the offers, I'm only interested in a cash sale at this time. Thanks!

Thanks for the comments--this bass is everything you'd think it would be plus some!

I've got a few folks "seriously interested" but it's still available for now.

I've had several folks asking is the onboard preamp is necessary with the Darkstars. My answer: Of course not. But it certainly does not take anything away, and it definitely adds to the tonal possibilities. I had planned to remove it myself, but found it could be very transparent, and I really liked what the "Z-mode" switch did for me. ;-) This bass can get a ton of useful tones! It's very responsive to right-hand playing techniques.

I had an Audere in my Darkstar'd Jazz for awhile and thought that it was a great combo- the Audere added a nice precision/clarity and could add some deadly sub frequencies if you weren't careful.
