Price Dropped!!! Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Mint + condition (more like new condition) with Fender Jazz Deluxe gig bag. I bought this a couple of months ago, but barely played it because I also have an EBMM Bongo 6. I thought I might like to go back to a 4-string, but I missed the extra range of a 6.

I set it up with D'addario strings. I didn't like the stock Fender strings that it came with. I can't find a scratch, rub, or ding anywhere.

$700 + $30 ground shipping CONUS

I have a Photobucket account to show the pics. I apologize that I am a bass player, not a professional photographer!

Please follow the link to see: http://s793.photobucket.com/albums/y...%20Lee%20Jazz/

Thanks for looking!

Any interest in a possible trade for a sunburst Geddy Lee?

That sunburst looks amazing, but I am wanting to sell. I am playing six strings now and am raising funds for a 6-string fretless. Thanks for the interest!

I would think the sunburst would be more valuable since the others are more common. That's a great picture, BTW.
Certainly not trying to diminish the awesomeness of the one for sale...BTW.

The pricing for the sunburst basses is the same as the black basses and they are readily available (not rare) so the value would be the same. Of course, on the used market, maybe you can get a little extra, but let's face it, the Geddy Lee only costs $999 to begin with, so it can't be too much more.

I personally value them the same but I prefer black over sunburst. Apparently, I'm the only one in my circle of friends/family that does. The looks I got when I mentioned I might trade the sunburst for a black one....well....they weren't kind.

Thanks for your consideration, though, Jon. I wish you the best in the sale. It is most certainly worth what you are asking for it (IMHO). Here are the pics of it to get it on the forums without anyone having to click a link:

Thank you Suddenlysane for posting the pics of my bass! That is very nice of you!!!

I like the sunburst finish as well, but most people identify the Geddy Lee bass as being black. Regardless of finish they are awesome basses! Thanks again for the help and the good wishes!

I'm in the same boat as you. I can't seem to do without the low B, but that is just my preference. A bunch of awesome music has been made with just 4 strings, though!!!
