It's a low SQ # so it's probably 1983. These were in the 70's style as the headstock, truss rod screw at the butt of the neck, and brass grounding plate attest. I just polished the frets and board and put on new LaBella 45-105 Steels. It plays and sounds excellent. There is plenty of body wear, dings and whatnot, some go through the paint, they could be fixed pretty well with black fingernail polish. Aside from that there are some marks behind the 5th fret of the neck. The tuners are replacements.
I can take better pics, I was in a rush since the batteries were almost dead. This is a sweet players bass, plenty of body wear but a really nice and clean neck that is easy and fun to play.
oh yeah and 1 5/8" nut
