Fender Jazz ’62 RI Japan

Sign in to disble this ad
Fender Jazz Bass, ’62 RI, Crafted in Japan, approx. 2001. Color is Old Candy Apple Red. Beautiful dark rosewood board and vintage-style thin frets.

Back of the neck has one ding behind the 5th fret. It’s above the center, so my thumb never felt it. A few small dings on the bottom of the body, none thru the finish. A mar on the headstock below the logo. Some rust on the pickup poles.

Upgrades include new Gotoh bridge and Fender tugbar; replacement of control plate and tone pot.

Weight is around 9 pounds. Good balance. Strung with GHS Precision Flats (45-100). Comes with a nice Levy’s gigbag.

$575 shipped conUS, Paypal only please. Not really interested in trades, but maybe... Any questions, just ask. Thanks for looking.

The CIJ 62RI's really are very nice instruments. I enjoy mine as much as my SAD RV4 and CS64 Jazz Basses.

Good luck w/ the sale!

Not nitro. High gloss poly, I guess.

Thanks! Neck profile is like other Jazzes I've played. The difference is the skinny frets and glossy vintage tint.
