This is my Fender Jazz Std 50Th Anniversary Bass (US made).
The bass is great condition. I have added some very nice upgrades, as you can see below. The bass comes in a hard to find Daphne Blue color and features the original white pickguard. There's a small ding (pic) on the bass, the original owner dropped the bass on the floor (bass was in a gig bag), other than that, all good! The asking price is $850.
The following has been upgraded:
- John East Pre-Amp (J-Retro): this is one of the best pre-amps in the market, and it sounds amazing. If you know them, you'd probably know these go for $320 alone. http://www.east-uk.com/index.php/bas...-retro-01.html
- Bartolini Pickups: I added the Bartolini 9J1 pickups, which has given a fantastic sound to the bass.
- Hipshot A Style bridge: This bridge is far superior to the standard Fender bridge.
This is an incredible instrument with amazing upgrades. It also features the string thru the body bridge when using the original bridge. But it just hasn't been played enough, so it is time for me to let it go. Also, I have the original bridge and pickups and would consider including with the bass.
The bass is well priced, considering in upgrades alone I have spent $550. This is priced to sell. No trades please.
