Fender Jazz Bass 78 Natural Finish

Sign in to disble this ad
I got this bass from a trade and since I already have a 78 jazz with sunburst finish, I decided to let this one go, as far as I know everything is original except the pots.

This bass has a great slap sound, I don't play slap, but when I sit down to play it I can't stop slapping it sounds beautiful.

Includes a fender gigbag and will be packed for a safe shipping.

Would like to get $1900 shipped in the US.

It appears that you're getting the start of splitting down the fretboard at the bullet. Keep it humid or inject glue into the spot (that's what my luthier did with my '76). Maybe I'm wrong, just looks like it from the photo.

The bass is in great condition, no issue at all.

Wow it seems like it was just yesterday you could pick up a late 70's J or P for much much shorter money than they are commanding today.

I think it's time to load up on these instruments - or at very least start snapping up the early 80's basses. They will be worth 2x what they are today in 2 years.

if I was a 4 string player, i'd be seriously considering buying this bass, cause these are the real deal. One picture to show the alignment of the strings on the neck would greatly help. Good luck with the sale!
