Up for sale is a MIM Fender Jazz Bass. To be honest, she's a bit of a mutt. The neck, pickups, bridge, pickguard, and strings are from a new 2007 Jazz, the body from a fairly recent MIM '62 Jazz reissue, and the control plate is an Allparts. The control plate is loaded with Allparts potentiometers with a .047 orange drop cap. Sounds good and is set up with a nice, low action. There are a few finish cracks on the back that I cannot seem to photograph. There's also a major ding right at the neck pocket. One piece of it I was able to recover and glue back into place, the other not so much. This is a finish chip which does go down to the body but the wood is not damaged in any way. There's also a weird stain on the headstock near the fretboard. None of this affects playability at all. There is no case or bag but I will pack her up securely. I'm in a bit of a financial crunch so no trades at this time. SOLD!!
