Fender Jazz Bass MIM Midnight Wine like new $375 shipped CONUS

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an '07 Fender Jazz 4 string made in Mexico in midnight wine that I bought new in 2009 that has just been sitting unplayed. It needs to go to someone who will play it.

Here's the deal:

It is in like-new condition, no dings and only some almost microscopic scratches that I have to look for to find. Great neck.

There are 2 modifications from stock:

1. When I first got it I had 62 Reissue pickups professionally installed (by my luthier) and will ship the original factory pickups to the buyer also.
2. Straplocks installed.

I will include a slightly torn Fender padded gig bag.

I don't think I need to put specs here. It's a really nice bass that is virtually unplayed.

$375 shipped CONUS. Paypal preferred.

that pup mod was a great idea!!!

just last night, i was comparing outputs between my 62RI and my MIM and the RI was way hotter. the volume difference makes me want new pups for the MIM!!!

Thanks. I didn't think the output difference was that dramatic but still a good idea. I had the pickups already, I'd bought them for something else, and thought, why not?

But, as these things go sometimes, I ended up not playing it much, I guess I just need to thin the herd and have fewer instruments that I play more. I just had a G&L land in my lap unexpectedly from left field. I'm sure I'll regret this as soon as I sell it.
