Fender Jazz Deluxe American 4 USA made!

I recnetly got this bass off on a trade. i love the sound but I am definety a 5 string player now

I need my 5th string so I am going to try to either trade or sell it.
3 band eq., pick up pan, and volume. Electronics and pickups all stock. Active Jazz bass. Pickups are those newer Noise Reduction ones and it has no humming or hissing sounds. Metallic red color.

It has a few dents here and there and I think it was either made in 2006 or 07. It is not in perfect condition but this plays sooo nicely.

The DZ2****** serial number indicates it is a 2002 model. Bump for a nice bass.

Did the deluxe have the S-1? I thought that was only on the passive ones?

Right you are. This one has the onboard active EQ.

it seems like a buddy of mine has one on his deluxe... then again, he has ripped the guts out of that bass. maybe he added it to his bass on his own?

Yes, nice basses, I just picked up an '07 (08/09 specs) yesterday. Like it a lot and I got the olympic pearl color w/ tort guard, classy.

Bump for a nice bass, I have 3 of these basses and love everyone of them, although I have thought about selling one of them at times, I just can't make myself go through it. They play great, sound great, and will not break the budget.
