May be putting my Fender "Mellostang" Mustang bass up for sale. Just need the money and haven't been able to give this bass the play-time it deserves. I'm thinking $875/BO + shipping. Any interest?
Partial trades are welcome (basses, electric guitars, or classical guitars); will hear out offers, but would like to end up with at least $300 cash.
It's a recent MIJ reissue Mustang, original fiesta red finish, great shape. This is an amazing specimen in terms of playability and overall build quality. I'm not able to find a single dead-spot. Special ordered single-bar-magnet Dark Star pickup and a Dimarzio Model One pickup. The Model One is wired up with a mini-toggle coil split switch. Stacked, concentric volume knobs. HAS Sound push-pull tone pot (down = tone, up = passive overdrive control). Strung up with perfectly broken in Fender flats. Comes with Fender Mustang hardshell case.

For this one, it was Dark Star and Model One (single coil mode), with vol and tone on full. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkAxVuZcXu0 |

Though it does have substantial lows, the model one has more definition and sounds great as even just a solo'd pickup, especially in single-coil mode.. |
