Fender MIA 2008 J5 & P5

If you're looking for a killer, amazing American Standard Jazz 5, here it is. Black/black, maple board, HSC. Comes with original white guard as well. The pickups have been switched out to Lakland Hansen Pickups. They sound AWESOME in this. (do not have the original pickups any more). Everything else is stock, AFAIK. The action is able to get ridiculously low, by far lower than ANY Fender 5 (and most other 5ers I've had) I've ever had. This is one of the great ones. It has a few bumps and scuffs here and there, but nothing major. She's a player. I had her on the road with me for several runs at the end of last year and it never let me down! Has the newer style '08 HSC. Mid 9 lbs. $1100 shipped OBO

American Standard Precision V - 3TS. Awesome player. Some bumps here and there, nothing major just typical player wear. No issues at all. Records amazingly well...can send some tracks to interested parties if requested. Comes with HSC. (not the newer flight case type) Mid 9 lbs. $1050 shipped OBO

looks like the P5 may be spoken for in a trade deal...will still take cash on it though. The J5 is still up for grabs though.

sorry, only thing I'm taking in trade wise is a Stingray 5. I just got a KILLER stingray 4 today and am pretty much set up for 4 strings at the moment. Thanks for asking though.

haha... I hear ya. I love my Fenders, but I also love me some Stingrays. Matter of fact, that's all I got in my stable right now and that doesn't bother me one bit. Now if I can just get an SR5 back in the herd. Got a line on one for the P5, but if cash comes along for it, I'll just buy it outright from the guy. So c'mon cash.

still looking for cash money. if either bass doesn't sell by this coming weekend, the P5, I believe, is gone and the J5 will no longer be for sale. Get one of these while you can.

Using these on a session yesterday & today...and they sound amazing! Get them while you can cause I still want a Stingray 5!

is B string "good" enough...in compare with other fenders...

the B strings are killer on both of these or else I wouldn't have kept them for so long. I've used the P on several sessions and every engineer and producer have loved the sound. No complaints from that regard. Only reason I want to move these is because I personally prefer Stingrays.

you may want to talk to JD at corner, he has a used black SR5/maple...I tried it and aside from a setup is not bad?

Well, apparently the trade that was "in place" for after this past weekend was just someone blowing smoke, so the P5 is open for trade again.
