Fender MIJ 51 Pbass & PV T-45 Darkstar Price Drop

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all I need to move a few things to make room for something else. These are cash (Paypal) sales only, No trades.
First up is a 90's MIJ 51 Fender Pbass reissue in Sunburst with no Stinglay, This bass sounds and plays fantastic, It comes in a nice Hardshell case. There are some scratches and dings on the bottom of the bass and the last owner drilled three holes for a cheesy thumbrest. There's a reason this bass has been played and it's the tone.. It sounds wonderful and has a SD replacement pickup. 500.00 shipped to the Lower 48 states only. Well worth the dough.

Next up is my PV T-45 Darkstar, This bass rocks also and it's in fantastic condition and comes with beat original case. Sounds huge and beefy. Nice bass and great tone. On the heavy side around 10 lbs, No original electronics. The Darkstar alone is worth 275.00. 430.00 Shipped to the Lower 48..

NICE! I love Peavey Necks. How does the MIJ Fender neck compare in width and profile?

They are both pretty similar, The Fender is a little Chunkier front to back but I believe they are or close to the same width at 1/3/4 I will measure them tonight and give a definite.

What stings are on the Peavey? If rounds did you try it with flats? If yes, what kind and how did it sound?

The Strings on the PV are SIT Nickles, I'm not a Flats guy and never had a set on it, The bass Rocks with rounds and I'm sure it would sound great with Flats

I think those '51 RIs have 1 5/8" nut widths.
