Thumbs up Fender MIM P Bass in RARE purple

I've got a MIM Fender P in a very rare color, a dark purple. If you punch "Fender bass purple" into ebay you will get zero hits, evan on an advanced search of completed listings! All original, very good condition, white pickguard and knobs, maple neck, rosewood board, sounds like a Pbass! $400 obo shipped in US, pics on request.

Throw it in a Photobucket account, real handy for TB. You can resize it in there, and copy the img code.

I remember the midnight blue MIM P's from early 2000's looking purple. Then there was the satin midnight blue on the strats which WAS purple, not blue.

What year was your P from? It might just be a blue that looks really purple, I have seen a few that looked that way from the 2000's (think like '01 or 02ish). A guy I worked with had one and no matter how much he tried it always looked purple under lights.

I used to have a purple mim fretless jazz that an ex bought new for me around 2003. I remember the GC tag said it was midnight wine, but it looked purple to me. Post some pics.

What year, please (or letters + first digit of serial)?

How will you ship it (i.e. in case? bubble wrap + peanuts?) ?

Any damage (at all, anywhere) ?

Any problem with electronics?

Thanks!
