I just picked up a Jag Bass for a tour I'm doing this winter...and my rule (usually! haha) is one in, one out! Great condition! I just had it set up at Eric's Guitar Shop in Van Nuys. Currently strung with Half Rounds. $725 shipped!

No...they were all made in 1997 in Japan.

They only made 500 of them, so they're not for sale too often. Sorry...no trades. Gotta pay for a bunch of stuff I recently bought..

"What did da Gama say when he first looked down into the San Fernando Valley?

....Ahhh Van Nuys"

-Paul Schaffer on the Letterman show.

Terrible joke, but I think of it everytime I see or hear "Van Nuys".

Actually there were more that 500 made. I had one that was an 800 serial number. Great basses.

Eek! Sorry about the wrong number. Anyone know how many of these there were? I've had some questions about weight....it's 8.9 on my bathroom scale. Give or take a little...but it's definitely not the heaviest bass I have.

They made 1,000 of these. They are very nice basses. I have one that I bought from a good friend of mine.

I used to own one as well, and it was just great. Really beautiful build and killer tone.

Does the Noel Redding Jazz have a 1.5" nut width or a Precision width? I have seen other NR Jazz Ads stating the nut width is 1 5/8". Curious what the nut width measures on your bass.
