Fender P-bass, cool custom tattoo finish - Lookie Lookie!!

I bought this from a TBer several years ago. Fender P-bass with a great custom tattoo-esque paint job done by a tattoo artist in St. Louis. He used paint markers and the colors really pop! Has a Mighty Mite after market neck with a narrower jazz bass width at the nut. The clear pick guard has a crack by the knobs - it doesn't effect anything but wanted to mention it. Dimarzio pickup with tons-o-growl. The guy I bought it from said the body was an older Fender; the neck pocket has been painted so no way to know for sure. Bass weighs about 9 lbs on the bathroom scale.

This really is a great sounding bass and is a true a head-turner. I've had a lot of questions, compliments and thumbs-ups at gigs. It's truly one of a kind. The back of the body is solid black (sorry, forgot to take a pic of the back). Comes with the older hard case pictured.

$750 shipped to CONUS only. Payment by Paypal. No trades please. Questions welcomed. More pics available.

Sure... I'm listening. Did you sell it to me? It's been a great bass - lots of gigs over the past few years. It's in the same shape as it was when I got it. Hit me up or PM me.

I'm not sure who the artist was but I'm talking with the guy I bought it from and he may know... I'll see if he remembers.

Can't blame you for wanting it back. I was all prepared to not like it, but that's really cool!

Nice! A happy ending! Ya, when I heard "tattoo art," I wasn't expecting that. That's quite beautiful. Well hopefully you can hang onto it this time

I've seen a lot of custom painted things that didn't look that good - but this one is killer. I've enjoyed having it for the last few years.
