Fender P-bass with a great custom tattoo-esque paint job done by a tattoo artist in St. Louis. He used paint markers and the colors really pop! Has a Mighty Mite after market neck with a narrower jazz bass width at the nut. The clear pick guard has a crack by the knobs - it doesn't effect anything but wanted to mention it. Dimarzio pickup with tons-o-growl. The guy I bought it from said the body was an older Fender; the neck pocket has been painted so no way to know for sure. Bass weighs about 9 lbs on the bathroom scale.
This really is a great sounding bass and is a true a head-turner. I've had a lot of questions, compliments and thumbs-ups at gigs. It's truly one of a kind. The back of the body is solid black (sorry, forgot to take a pic of the back). Comes with the older hard case pictured.
$750 shipped to CONUS only. Payment by Paypal. No trades please. Questions welcomed. More pics available. |
