FENDER PRECISION American Std. -- $725

1999 Fender Precision, American Standard, Olympic White. Has perfect classic P-bass tone, but I must thin the herd.

Condition is 9/10. Minimal fretwear, light swirly lines in clearcoat on back of body, two small dings on headstock. Average weight, approx. 9 pounds.

Includes:
3 Hipshot Ultralight tuners (no E tuner)
’62 RI tort pickguard
original white pickguard
new CTS 250k pots, Switchcraft jack, copper-wire harness
newish GHS Boomers 45-100

Comes in an unknown hardshell case (TKL?), black/black, in great shape except for a blemish on the top. Fits the bass perfectly.

3 string

hey, that's not funny.
I was trying out some new strings once and grabbed the G string to stretch it a little and it just popped - right before a gig and that's when I realized I was lacking a backup set so... I played the entire show on a 3 string.
all said, it really wasn't that hard to adjust. played a few notes that weren't there cuz there wasn't a string but...

I did a gig once with just an E string and a G string...talk about some crazy intervals goin' on
