Some quick pictures:
Edit: In the first picture, it looks like there are big scratches on the spruce top; this is not the case and it's either variation in the top or a weird camera artifact. I don't see any big scratches on the top.

I believe it's a mahogany body, maple neck, and (thick) rosewood board (with side dots). I'm guessing it's one of the early ones because it has the plain Fender headstock (with MIJ and serial number towards the heel) and the Made in USA neckplate. The hardshell case is Fender USA; not sure it is original or not. The bass is in great shape for one approaching 20 years old. I'll try to cover the notables: There is ding in the fretboard that doesn't affect playability but can be seen by the player. On the E side of the neck, you can feel the fretboard joint near the headstock, even though the rest is seamless. One screw hole in the back cover is stripped. Right now, the bass sports mismatched black tapewounds, which could be changed out for used Elixirs if desired (the tapewounds sound better IMO).
Currently, the piezo is best used as flavoring for the Precision pickup, rather than on its own. Even with the tone balance control all the way towards bass, it's quite bright when soloed. Think of the bass as a big sounding fretless P with an acoustic "airy" quality. If keeping it, I'd get the $50 Cafe Walter buffer, just to make it more versatile. It is a sweetie, but I've got another on the way (a Martin Keith fretless) that will more than cover this vibe in a five string. Of course, it's super lightweight as a semihollow.
I'd love to trade this for (roughly in order of preference):
A fretted five string (ideal)
...
A fretted six or baritone
An EUB
A nice fretted 4

I can take more pictures for serious possibilities.
