Fender Precision Lyte For Sale

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD Selling my Fender Lyte for $425 shipped ConUSA SOLD

Comes with a fender HSC

This is a Made in Japan Lyte 1990 in Frost White with matching headstock. Weight is a svelte 6.96 lbs. Currently strung with Fender tape wounds and had a recent pro set up from the RockHause in Milwaukee.

This bass is in very nice shape for it's age. Has all it's original knobs with "f" inserts. The gold bridge is still in very good shape with little to no loss of color. Frets are basically in new condition. Front of the body is excellent. No buckle rash on back. This bass has been treated very
well. I am not the original owner.

It's hard to see from the pics but the Frost White paint has a little sparkle to it.

Has a few imperfections which I have photographed.
There is a small area of missing poly finish near the G tuner.
There is a small dent on the back of the body.
Two screws are missing from the back control/battery cover.

I put on inlay stickers. They are aged MOP and match the body color perfectly. I think they look pretty cool on this bass but can be easily removed without damage to the fret board.

The case

Post any questions here. Thanks

May be a stupid question, but is it active or passive? Thanks!

These are amazing basses. This one is STUNNING! I have a soft spot for pearl white, so this with the matching headstock is just making me swoon right now.
And tone-wise, they are hard to beat. Just phenomenal!

GLWTS bump for a sexy bass

Yeah, I've seen quite a few with the natural headstock. Were the matching headstocks only offered during certain years?

That'd be my guess.
I had a Foto Flame with a denim burst with matching HS. Thought it was a match just because it was fancy. But the pearl white (though fancy as well), never seen that matched.

As a matter of fact, there's a pearl one on CL locally that has the natural finish on the hs.

In order to get some people off the fence on this one, I'm upgrading the the case to a Fender HSC.

Pics in the OP.
