SOLD

Fender Precision 62 reissue. MIJ. Not sure of the year. Nitro finish. It's only a couple of years old. Close to mint condition. Comes with hard shell case. Strung with Labella flatwounds. Just bought it and ran into some bills. Looking for quick sale. $650 plus shipping.

These CIJ basses just smoke in playability and craftmanship.

Are you sure about this? I am aware of a custom nitro finish MIJ bass but it is fairly expensive and I have never seen one myself. 98% of the MIJ reissues are poly.

Not saying you are wrong, just checking.

I bought it here on TB and that's what the guy told me. It's a PB62 I believe. I'm just going by what he said.

I owned this bass many moons ago.

It is worth well beyond the asking price in terms of tone and playability.

Those models were sold for a couple years with lacquer finishes. That looks just like the one I ordered from Ishibashi, and sold right here. Forgot right off hand who bought it, but those P's had that Dimarzio special pickup. I'm not sure if it's Nitro, but it was advertised as lacquer.
I should add............................. beautiful bass bubba..... that's a 3 b Bump...

They're Fender Japan's top line and have a nitro finish, or some other lacquer IIRC, they're definitely not poly. Beautiful two piece bodies. Never tried one but I would guess they're awesome. Good price!!!
