2003 Fender Artist Signature series Roscoe Beck 4 string in excellent condition.
SZ3186935
9 lbs. 5 oz.
Fender didn't start selling these until 2004, but if you plug in the serial number 2003 comes up.
Hardshell case included.
$1,000 +shipping
Detailed description of imperfections:
*The paint scrapes on the bottom are small and seem stable, not chipping any more.
*The small dimple is just that....doesn't even break through the surface paint
*The finish imperfection on the underside of the headstock looks like a drip of poly that hardened in place.
*What looks like a crack next to the drop-d tuner is in the finish only, and looks stable.
*Another finish crack at the neck pocket is minimal and also looks stable, very common.

Really would like to sell this........but I might be interested in certain Laklands (because of the nice small neck profiles), or anything with a J-width nut and 7.25" fretboard radius.

| | | | Was this bass refinished? It's weird that Fender would re-paint LPB over red. But maybe not. I had a sunburst one a long time ago and it was probably the best modern Fender I have ever had. Most versatile Fender production bass in terms of different tones I think. LOVE this. |

Musicman Sterling or Stingray w/SLO neck
Lakland J-types
Modulus VJ
G&L's with #6 neck (1.5" nut, 7-1/4" radius)
Fender Jazz w/1.5" nut, 7-1/4" radius (probably only reissues available like this)

Any interest in one of my (God, I can't believe I'm doing this) Kubicki basses?
Check out a few pictures since they are VERY non traditional and PM me if you want to talk specifics....
Thanks
Jeff

| | Starring In: Return of Kung-Fu World Champion | | Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: Oxford, Ohio (Near Cincy) | | I've got an MTD Saratoga that is one of the old models that has a neck like butter. I got it new, old stock, and it is in terrific condition. The fit and finish on this bass is incredible, and it's a real looker too. Bart pickups and electronics. Zero fret, Buzz Feiten Tuning system, hipshot hardware. I love this bass, I've just always wanted one of the Roscoe Beck's in that color.
Here is the old link from MTD. The Saratoga
Let me know if you are interested. |

And I can't believe this RB-IV is still here. I sold mine once, and through a Fluke it got returned to me. have no need for ANY Other Jazz Basses with this beast. (Although I love my P-Bass with the "A" Neck! )
