Fender Special P Bass Candy Red MIA with hard case

Selling my Fender P Bass Special MIA in Candy Apple Red with a Road Runner hard shell case included.

This is a beautiful P Bass and plays AMAZING,,, its in perfect condition with no scratch's that I can see on the finish.

This bass currently sells at Musicians Friend for $999.00 w/o case,,,, I'm selling it for only $650.00 with case and shipping included (lower 48 con us only).

The new Fender® American Special Precision Bass bring you the latest in U.S.-built quality and value! With its slim neck profile, high-gloss finish, and Fender Greasebucket™ tone circuit, you get classic American Fender looks and playability plus dynamic and versatile tone.

The Fender American Special Precision Bass begins with an alder body and C-shaped maple neck. A maple fretboard comes standard on the Black and Candy Apple Red models, with a rosewood fretboard on the Olympic White and Three-color Sunburst models. All models feature medium-jumbo frets.

A split-coil alnico pickup provides the legendary American P Bass sound, and Fender's Greasebucket tone circuit rolls off highs while maintaining low-end definition, ensuring you'll cut through any mix. Finishing touches include knurled chrome knobs, vintage-style bridge and strap buttons.

Purchased the P Bass Special new under 2 years ago.

Selling because I didn't end up using it as much as I had thought I would and I also have far too many bass's,,, it's time to thin the herd.

It's a nice bass, I have an identical one, plays very smooth, low action, good tone. You won't lose on this one.

Huh,,,, don't know,,,, I do know that is much lighter than a standard P Bass,,,, the body is also a tiny bit smaller than a standard P Bass as well,,,,, those are some of the reasons I bought the bass, because of the lighter weight and smaller body and thinner Jazz style neck.

Fender.com might have the weight listed as well as the rest of the specs.
