Up for sale only is a Jazz Active V in mint condition. If you know these or Google them, they are very highly rated and an incredible bass for the money. This one was modified by a prior owner to include a MIM Jazz neck. Really nice neck! If you look closely you can see where he shimmed the side of the neck in the pocket on the b string side, since the jazz neck was slightly narrower at the heel than the Squier neck. He did a great job and it fits and plays perfectly.

Very versatile and great-sounding and playing bass for the money, but I have a Carvin SB5000 on the way so want to get this to someone who needs it. This is a great way to get into a decent 5-string for low cost.

No case, but will ship well-packed to you in the CONUS for $225. Set up nicely with a set of Fender roundwounds on it.

My old bass sure gets around!

Ha - its a beauty and you did a great job on it. I got lots of compliments on this bass for appearance and tone. Funny thing is I've been searching for a 5 string configuration that works for me for years, and the black beauty made me realize that the jazz bass neck was it. I would keep it but with another bass coming in, I'd just as soon see it in someone's hands.

I agree,this bass is a nice one for the money. The neck is one of the best MIM's I have ever had. If someone wants to try a 5 string out and not put alot of $ in it,this is the way to go!
