Fender Squier Precision Bullet Bass - $290 shipped i've been having fun experimenting with basses i've always wanted to try, and putting together basses from parts bought here on talkbass. but it's time to make way for new experiments and such... fender-squier precision bullet bass comments: this was a fun bass to put together. the bass has an overall cool and vintage vibe and the coloring of the body and neck match near perfectly. the fender mim ash body is a great match for the vintage squier mik bullet bass neck. the neck feels great with naturally rounded fingerboard edges. there is no real wear on the frets. the rosewood fingerboard is beautiful and the dots look like pearloid dots and not plastic. the stock tuners work fine with no issues. the nut is cut a bit big on the g string (the seller assumed it had been used left handed at some point), but it doesn't cause any issues. the bass looks fantastic as the pics show and has the usual mild players wear, but nothing i was able to get in a pic. i had justin kennedy set up the bass recently and it plays great. it sounds and feels like a nice pbass should. the cavities are shielded with copper and the pickup is a fender mia. no gig bag is included but i pack well and ship insured. body: ash (fender mim) neck: maple with rosewood fingerboard (vintage 80's squier mik bullet), 1.75" nut width pickups/electronics: fender mia split p, passive bridge: badass weight: a bit over 9 lbs $290 including ground insured shipping conus. thanks for looking! |
