Fender Squire Pro Tone V

Sign in to disble this ad
This bass is on par with a Mexican Fender in my opinion, and has a wide flat fingerboard that is easy to play on. The string spacing is 19mm, and has passive soapbars. The front pickup alone does a very convincing P-Bass tone, and is probably more even sounding than a P-Bass pickup. With both on, it is thick and clear.

The bridge pickup by itself is VERY burpy. I think tonally this bass has some very usable tones, especially for a passive bass.

Has new stainless La Bella's on it. Has some superficial scratches and the gold hardware has seen better days, it's a player. Guessing the weight is solidly in the Stingray 10 lb range. The body appears to be ash. Lots of grain with black veins, looks nice.

$300 PRICE DROP SHIPPING FREE CON US.

I will close this thread when the bass is sold.

Another pic

Yes this link shows a few pictures of the same model, not the exact same bass, but identical. Here is a copy of that bass from that link, but keep in mind it is not mine.

I would post more pictures but I am having some issues uploading so please bear with me.

I will responded via PM as well. Thanks for your interest!

19mm on a Fender/Squire is sweet!

Full set-up completed, new strings and low action with no buzzes. This is very solid standard 19mm 5 string instrument with an ash body, standard EMG 35/Bartolini or Seymour Duncan or Nordstrand compatible shape soapbar pickups that would be a cinch to upgrade should you decide to go active. For $300, how can you go wrong?

Believe me, if I had the scratch, this would've sold to me days ago.

Can't believe this is still here! If only I could re-train my brain to play 5-string....

Thanks for the offer but I have to pass, I'm up to my eyeballs in basses. I could use a nice maple neck for my Japanese Fender P however. (4)
