|  | Registered User | | Join Date: May 2007 Location: Atlanta, GA | | | Fender USA AVRI 62 Precision Bass I'm cleaning house. Letting go of a few nice basses that just don't get much play time these days. This one is a USA Fender 62 RI Precision. Black w/ tort guard and rosewood board.
1.75" at nut. Weighs 9 pounds. I haven't popped the neck, but I think this bass is probably from the late 90s to early 2000s by the looks of the tortoise guard.
The bass shows a little wear. There are some marks on the neck from where the bass sat in a hanging stand.
I don't have the original case or covers. The bass will ship in the hard case shown in the pics.

The salesman owned the same re-issue in black. We had both of them in the store one day, sitting side-by-side on the "stage" area of the store. They were both in their tweed cases with the tops opened. People were "oohing and aahing" over them. The salesman often said that he wished he had gotten the 3TSB, while I sometimes wished I had gotten the Black. Great basses though, and they look good in any color!
