Exclamation PRICE DROP Fender USA Deluxe FMT w/ Sadowsky pre, Dimarzio Ultra Jazz Pickups

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello to All PRICE DROP **NEW PICS SCROLL DOWN TO THE END**

Fendowsky for sale!

I have a gorgeous US Fender Deluxe FMT with a Sadowsky preamp w/ VTC and Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups. Comes with a 1/8" Quilted maple top, and blocked and bound rosewood neck. I traded for this bass here on TB and it is stunning both musically and visually. I used Dimazios because I had a set I never used around the house, and they are very close to Sadowsky pickups. (Sad. pickups are based on Dimarzio Ultra's ,but built to Rogers specs.)

Year: 2002
Model: Fender Deluxe FMT
Body: Alder w/ 1/8" Quilted Maple Top
Neck: Rosewood, blocked and bound, nice fast satin finish
Preamp: Professionally installed Sadowsky preamp w/VTC
Pickups: Professionally installed Dimarzio Ultra Jazz
Weight: 8.4 lbs

The bass will come with an equally impressive GG Fender Tweed case and all original parts (original preamp and Fender Noiseless Pickups, original gold knobs) as well as case candy.

-The original owner had the Sadowsky pre installed and the bass set up by Kevin Kaufman, Jaco's old tech.
-I had the Dimarzios installed by Mas Hino at Guitarman, here in NYC.
- Also had Lisa at Sadowsky take a look at it, and it was given a clean bill of health

The bass plays and sounds AMAZING.....so why sell it?

OK look at my profile...I now have three of almost the same basses....2 Sadowsky 'bursts 4 stringers (One with a similar quilted top) and this one. In fact, this one sounds so close to one of my Sadowsky NYC's its a bit redundant. Hence the sale.

I am open to trades, but they would probably have to be 4 stringers, and in my current gigs I have to sing lead.(I'm lucky I can walk and chew gum, let alone play a 5'er or 6'er and sing)

This is the second Fendowsky I have owned, and the marriage of Fender USA workmanship and Rogers preamp go together really well. This bass is way better than the sum of its parts, and anyone lucky enough to own it will agree....its That Good!

That being said, I'm comfortable waiting for the right deal to come along, not hard up for the cash...just want to see what's out there. Cash is King, but I will entertain trades, + or - cash
feel free to run stuff by me.
Asking 1575.00**PRICE DROP 1450.00 shipped in CONUS PayPal is accepted and I have no problem shipping internationally, but please contact me as I will have to figure added shipping cost.

These pics are from the previous owner (hope you don't mind Ken)

This one we have the Sadowsky pre onboard, with the original pickups (Fender noiseless)

This one is with the old knobs on...gives a good look at the Quilt.

That's my ex girlfriend. Ken took her from me. It sure is nice to see her again. She looks better then she ever has. Good luck with the sale.

Wow don't know why you let her go...if I didn't already own a similar Sadowsky NYC, I'd never get rid of her!
