This is a good one. Beautiful figured koa top - better than almost any other one I've seen. Beautiful dark rosewood fretboard with abalone dots. Very nice fit and finish-custom shop level. 9.5/10 overall condition. The tone is like a Fender combined with a Ken Smith sound. The electronics and EQ are very well voiced for the bass. OHSC case, paperwork, and gold strap locks included. Recently discontinued and selling new for $2300. Asking $1400 and shipping- $1200 plus actual shipping.

NO TRADES. Domestic/Lower 48 shipping only. PM if interested.

I just got a 5 string version and it's one of the best jazz basses I ever owned! But man your top looks gorgeous! Seems like the 4 bangers have better tops. Mine is so plain

Thanks. Despite how it is advertised on Fender.com, most VBs have a very plain tops.
IMO these are Fender's best take on the deep sounding modern jazz bass.
