I'm normally not a fan of gold hardware, but this thing pulls it off nicely. GLWS.

In passive mode, it has a really big, punchy Precision sound;
Active mode cranks up the tone and slices to the front of the mix.

I don't know if he's still there,b/c it's been years and years since I've been to Austin, but Rob, who owned the repair shop around the corner from Heart of Texas Music would kill for that bass.

I know Rob. He moved his shop a little further south.

In my opinion, the most attractive P bass "Fender" corp. ever produced.

I love this bass (I have no money) but I can tell whoever buys this will not be disappointed.

I have one of these and it kills. Best neck I've ever played. That's a very reasonable asking price for a very rare bass.

I love the CAR with matching headstock, but I have to pay some college bills my kids rang up.

Bump for a great bass. I have not played this one, but I have played 4 others, and all are amazing basses, with a tonal range allowing a great old school sound with a strong core, but with the amp also also allowing colors not present in other Fenders.

I can also recommend M5Yates as a seller, having bought a bass from him in the past.
