I'll spare the sales pitch and say this: This is the finest 5er that I've ever played. Rob from ABC customs does remarkable work and should be commended. Adding the B-string ferrule makes it tight, and I wish all manufactures would do this.

All top quality parts on this one. If you're inclined, add it all up

Specs:
Body - MIM 5 string Jazz bass body - Gloss black Alder
Neck - New Warmoth Standard Deluxe 5 string Maple/Maple with Black Block inlays, 10” radius - standard contour, 1 3/4" Graphtec nut, 34" scale 20 frets. 6105 tall/narrow, nickel frets (not bulky "medium/jumbo" frets) - leveled, crowned, polished, dressed, with rounded edges
Pickups - Neck: Nordy NP5; Bridge: Nordy NJ5
Passive tone circuit with linear pots for V/T: USA CTS 250K pots, switch craft jack, .047uF Orange drop tone cap, vintage "cloth" wiring
Black Hardware
Hipshot "A" style Fender replacement string through bridge - B string has been drilled for string through body application with standard Fender 5 string Jazz string spacing
Tuners are USA Hipshot Ultralite
Dunlop flush mount strap locks (black)
Body - Completely shielded using shielding paint. Vintage wiring used throughout and has been grounded thoroughly - no hum or hiss
Headstock - Finished in high gloss poly and the back of the neck has been finished in Oil/Poly blend

The bass is light coming in right around 9lbs according to my bathroom scale. Excellent fretwork, super-low action, amazing Nordy pickups. You cant go wrong. I'll let the pictures do the talking!

I Just bought a RIC, and really need the money. Also, I'm just not a 5 string player no matter how hard I try.

$675 shipped and insured in the conusa in a nice fender gig bag. NO TRADES

Thanks!

Will do, but I'm pretty sure this one is a goner. Man, looking at these pics, I really should've wiped her down before taking glamour shots! Finger print city!
