This bass is sold
Looking to move this Jazz that I recently picked up in a trade. Really great sounding and playing bass but I am not a Fender guy and most of my gigs require a B string.
Specs:
-Allparts licensed Fender Jazz neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and block inlays.
-Chambered ash body from Warmoth.
-Gotoh bridge and Hipshot ultralite tuners-black
-Audere preamp with Nordstrand pickups.
-Fender hardshell case in great condition.
From what I understand this bass was assembled at Bee basses. The finish is impeccable quality and the fretwork is perfect. With the chambered body this bass is surprisingly light and comfortable and plays really well. Other than some wear on the pick guard this bass is in near mint condition. It was listed on TB just a couple of weeks ago for 1100$ but my trade worked out so that I can offer it for 950$ instead. I am also interested in trading for two 2x10 cabinets for a stereo rig. 4 ohm cabinets are preferred but I will consider others as well. I am not stuck on 2x10's. I will also consider quality 1x12's and I am especially interested in the markbass 604 and 804 cabinets and the Acme B-2 cabs. Looking for brands such as Aguilar, Bergantino, Markbass, Epifani... You get the idea.

| | | | neck Hi, at least looking at the fender decal it doesnt look like an original fender neck, maybe its warmoth or allparts (probably better than an original fender ) ? thanks |

Fender basses fall pretty far outside my area of expertise. Funny thing is, I like the sound and feel of Fender's but I very much dislike their components and construction quality. Finding out this bass has no Fender parts actually makes me like it a little more. |

You can see the ash grain through the finish but not in complete detail. The finish is very smooth and in great shape. I will post some more pics of the body when I can. |

| | | | How about an Eliminator I bass reflex cabnet holds a 15" speaker' I used this in stereo untill a power surge blew the speaker at a gig. I still use the other cabnet with a JBL in it. Love the sound from it. You might combine this with nore of a mid range speaker cab for some interesting tones. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
