Fiesta Red Fender Franken P bass*Pino with a kick*High Res pics!

She's a parts bass, but a damn nice one! I like the Pino look, but wanted a slight variation of it. This is it for me.... maybe it will be for you, too?

Classic Vibe P body in fiesta red, with one of the nicest P bass neck I've ever played (its from a 2006 Highway One that I had the frets dressed on). The standard CV pup gave me a better sound than the American Vintage 62 that I had in there for a bit, so I switched back. I have a wired BWB pickguard (CTS Pots, Switchcraft Jack, and Orange drop cap) that I would include. I switched everything back because the CV tone was _it_ for me. The pickguard is from Terrapin, and is a variation of tort. I was going for a Pino look but different, and I think this achieves it. It also has a Fender Vintage threaded bridge. Excellent setup with low action, and is wearing newish (1 month) Chromes. Light weight and resonant, it sounds, feels, and plays like a good P should.

I'm looking for trades. Specifically.....

* SBMM Ray34 in Silverburst or Honeyburst
* Possibly a Fender FSR Jazz Bass (mim natural ash) Must not be a boat anchor
* Fender Classic Series 60s Jazz bass. Bonus points if its in white, but sunburst is cool, too
* MAYBE a Fender 50's Classic P..I dig that wide neck!
* Nicely done parts Jazz or P Basses
* Any other interesting basses

I'm pretty set on amps, so I'm not really interested. Any questions, please ask!

Yeah, that's what I meant. I'm an idiot. Post updated. The bass comes in at 8.2 pounds according to the ol' bathroom scale.

All PMs replied. To answer some FAQs

It weighs slightly over 8lbs according to my bathroom scale

It will come shipped in whatever the traded bass comes in (bag for bag, HSC for HSC)

I got the pick guard from Terrapin Guitars. Thanks, I like it too

How would you compare this neck to a classic 1.75" neck? I prefer bigger necks on a P and this intrigues me...
