SOLD!!!!!! Thanks Stan.
I will not be able to ship this until the middle of next week due to getting another bass and using the box for this bass. Please keep that in mind. Part of the reason I am letting this go cheap is not having to buy extra shipping materials.
Up for grabs is a 1993 Ibanez SR505 in Translucent Teal with Bartolini 59J1-LS pickups. Not many in this color floating around anymore that I could find.
The bass was made in Korea in the Cort factory in 1993 according to the serial. The action is dead on and the bass has some superficial finish scratches (top of contour) and some finish wear on the back of the neck.
Sound wise it doesn't sound like an Ibanez SR bass. With the Barts it's sounds VERY similar to my Fender Jazz that has Basslines Hot and Vintage pickups in it. Nice low end and low mid growl going on.
Depending on the light, this bass is green to teal. In normal light is def more on the green side.
Brand new barrel jack. There was no routing involved for pickups, the pickups were a drop in replacement. This bass has passive pickups, with an active 9v preamp. VOL VOL BASS TREB configuration. This model does NOT have the classic stacked Ibanez knob structure.
Here is the Bart info:

"These are single coil units with strong lows and low mids. They feature split coil construction for hum canceling. The 59J1 is a 5 string version of the 9J1 and features bright neck tone and deep bridge tone. The #1 windings yield much more "growl" from the Bridge pickup. They are very similar to Bartolini's old 94J pickups, just ever so slightly brighter at the bridge."

Cosmetically it has some nicks and wear. Little neck wear, some finish scuffs, no noticeable fret wear, etc. I put new strings on it when I swapped out the pickups and have used it on one gig and a few practices.

Comes with cheap gig bag but will be VERY WELL packed.
Paypal Preferred.
Thanks.
