Ok so the prices in this thread are changing as soon as the bass i want sells haha so get em fast! Before i come to my sences!!

Ill consider trades on these basses 2 for 1 for a nice 5 string. top of my list is a 55-94/Nordstrand VJ5 but im open to all nice 5ers

First up is an MTD Z5, iv had this up a few times, but havent been able to bring myself to sell it.

Its got some gig wear, but i got pics of all of that. nothing that you can really see.

Trans cherry red finish, mahogony/maple burl body, maple/maplen neck.
This bass has Bart P2 pickups, dunlop straplocks, an aggie 3 pre and a hipshot a style bridge. Sounds AMAZING!! It has 2 switches that individually swith the pickups between series/single/paralel, and a mid frequency switch. THIS BASS WILL GET ANY SOUND YOU WANT! these normally go for around 1000, but i need cash.

next is a Lakland skyline Bob Glaub PJ.

THis bass is fairly new to me, however the bass is an 03. It has fralin pickups and dunlop straplocks. The bass is Lake placid blue which im told is rare on skylines.

This bass is in wonderful condition. Iv only found 2 very small nicks in it (one of which im having trouble refinding)

Only trades im considering on this are 55-02 delux, or a 2 for 1 with the MTD for a nice bass

NEW INSTRUMENT! im now also putting up a 1997 Fender MIM active delux strat strat. Its olymic white (natural aging) perloid cream guard in exelent condition.
The paint has some aging, the pickup ples have minor rust and the bridge has more major corosion, but its covered by the bridge cover and still works fine.

Could you please post more pix of the Glaub. Like to see the small nicks. Does this come with a case or gig bag? What is the nut width?

That Glaub used to be mine. It is INCREDIBLE. I wish I had the cash to get her back. Those early skyline necks are incredible and this one feels better than most of the US necks I have played. Someone is going to love this,

...and a pic of the back of the headstock, do the schallers fit exact or were there holes left from where the stock tuners went? Fret wear?

Absoulutly best neck iv played bama! Im gonna miss her like mad! I just discoverd im a 5er guy.. losing alot of money on this one :/ i need to stop buying and selling lol damn gas.
Im not sure on schallers as it still has the stock hipshot tuners.

Just curious about what kind of P2 soaps you have in the MTD. Are they the CB ones or the deep tone dual or quads?

Those were my pics, too. My apartment! Haha, I think it was a lot of people's basses. Though I will attest to it being a FINE bass. I just had to sell it for financial reasons. It's easier to flip a $950 bass than it is for a $2K+

thanks brother! If i weren't getting a nordy VJ5 this thing would stay right where it is. I love it to death. The fact that i just had to spend $100 on car repairs doesn't help (college student, thats alot to me)

I had to stick it in the closet so i would stop playing it due to letting go issues lol. Now im having the same problem with the mtd.. the curse of nice basses
