OK...I am not a modern bass sound kinda guy!!!
This is the first Indonesian run of these basses when the finish did not look like a coffee table- simply wood and a little poly. Original gold hardware. Do some research on TB, these are the imports that were good! I just cant adjust to the 18V preamp.
I bought this for my last gigging band from GC as NOS. Its a great bass for the modern 5er sound, 35 scale etc...
A few dings here and there as a gigged bass which is about 3 years old is likely to have, but nothing that would show up in pics.
Bass was missing two of the five gold knobs at GC so i bought two generic gold knobs at Daddys, and one of the set screws was stripped so never got around to the 5th knob which is still missing.
Installed Gold Dunlop straplocks which I am throwing in.
Got a brand new (6 months but almost unplayed) set of DR Hibeams which has less than an hour playing time on them.
Had it set up over a year ago at Wolf's on Mass ave and the setup is still a butter bass setup.
$350.00 shipped or $300.00 local deal and I take credit cards with a mobile wireless swipe! Or paypal is fine.
I will drive within an hour of Boston for the local deal, which means as far as Worcester, Beverly, Rockland, etc... (Woostah!). LOL!
Im GASSing for a Squier VM Jazz 5. This is probably a higher quality bass BTW, but I never have learned to get along with a battery.
