Fodera Emperor 5 String for sale $5,500.00

Sign in to disble this ad
I've got a gorgeous Fodera Emperor 5 string bolt-on that I'm reluctantly parting with.

An injury this year is making the move to a short scale necessary. If it wasn't for that I'd take this bass with me to the grave!

Here's the specs on the Fodera:
35" scale
Highly figured burled redwood top (w/ matching pickup covers and headstock)
Walnut body
Madagascar Rosewood Fretboard with abalone block inlays (21 frets)
Extended B headstock (w/ gold hardware)
Duncan dual coils w/ pope 3-band
Fodera Teardrop Hardshell case
Bloodwood Ramp

This Bass is a Tone Monster! Every possible sound can be pulled from this instrument! The neck is the best I have ever touched. Comfortable and slim profile.

Similar basses would cost about 7k new...and then there's the wait for the bass.

The selling price for this bass is $5,500.00.
Buyer pays for shipping and I'm going to try to avoid PayPal if at all possible!

If you have a Status 4 string Kingbass with the bend well or an Alembic Stanley Clarke sig we can talk about a trade and cash possibility.

PM me if you are interested

Happy Holidays and Thanks!

To be honest the 35" scale on this is extremely comfortable. Feels like a 34". When I first got it I had to measure it because I didn't believe that it was a 35".

What's the weight and do you happen to have any pictures of the back?

I've never weighed it but it is very comfortable and very well balanced with a good strap (would you expect less from Vinnie?) .

I don't at the moment have any pictures of the back but if you're seriously interested in purchasing it I can take one.

For now though just to let you know, the back is just the typical Walnut look with the traditional Fodera heel cutaway at the neck join.

Thanks and let me know if you need any other info!

All the best!

Tuesday Bump!
Quite a few Trade offers and some non committal cash interest discussions so far.

But no one has pulled the trigger yet!

Get this bass and start off your New Year with this incredible instrument!
