I bought this thinking if this didn't work out as a fretless bass for me, I could get it fretted. I decided for the latter and after much consideration I opted for Jimmy at AC to do the deed. His assessment was to keep it a fretless (his words after playing it "the bass is killin as a fretless") and with that...... I decided against the fret job (yeah, blah, blah, blah)

Yup. That's what you need, intervention, but you know what, Mr. Sheen has his godesses, but we Tb'r have our basses, which I'm sure all our significant other will greatly appreciate
