This is the model that used to be called Beez and recently changed to Imperial II.
The bass is just gorgeous in looks and sound, this is just a feeler because I haven't used it at all since January when I received my new Fodera which is the exact same bass but 6 string version. To be honest this one sounds better than the new one, I really hope I don't regret if I sell it or trade it. This bass was at the Fodera shop a couple of months ago to get the updated version of the Pope preamp.
Walnut Body
Maple Neck 34" Scale
Burl Walnut Top
SD dual coils
Ebony Fingerboard
String spacing at the bridge is 18mm
Trades I would be interested in:
Fodera with different woods and specs, either 6 or 5 strings
Ken Smith 6 strings
Sadowsky
Roscoe 6 string
Vintage Fender
Pedulla Hexabuzz
I would prefer 34" scale and a string spacing at the bridge not wider than 18mm
I recently asked the Fodera guys about price and time to get one like this and they told me $11,700 and a 2 years wait.
I would let it go for $7,500 shipped in the US.

I'm just wondering about the unusual placement of the pups -- they look to be far back toward the bridge. Haven't seen that configuration before...? Thanks for any info.

W | Look up the Tom Kennedy model. Not saying it's the exact same placement but it has this kind of placement. |

It is even tougher when there are fretless lines. But if Fodera did it or someone respectable I'm sure it is came out great. Hook us up with some answers Mr. Seller!

THANKS for asking. |

Fodera used to install This kind of bridges on custom string spacing basses. Check out Janek Gwizdala's bass, I think it has the same kind of bridge than mine.
Yes, I have the Fodera case.
Thanks for asking.
Please send me a PM if you have more questions, I check that more often.

W | I would suggest to check out Tom kennedy. I think he has a pickup placement similar to this on his Fodera. |

Just wanted to be sure. Beautiful bass... |

The PUP spacing is Tom Kennedy Spacing and the bridge is a Hipshot because until recently (last year) we only made a 19.0mm bridge. Now we make both 19.0 and 17.5...
It is a wonderful bass. I had a chance to play it after it was fretted...

I can't believe it's fretted, that's something that I always wanted to do, but didn't have the patience for! Good luck with the sale. This is one of the most perfect Foderas I've ever played. Great seller as well! |
