I have a Fodera late November 2011 production build start slot that I reserved waay back in 2009.
Well, things have changed and I am considering selling my slot. Price is $2,106.00 (the amount of my deposit).
I believe you have until a couple of months before the build starts to make order changes (at 2011 prices, of course), so you can spec whatever you want without the wait time (16 moths to 2 years currently I believe).

About my spec: I ordered a Monarch 5 string with Mahogany body (which I was going to switch to ash), maple neck, maple fretboard (17.5 mm spacing) Holly Top. Seymour Duncan Single Coils.
Ideally, this opportunity is for someone that is considering ordering their own build now, but does not want to wait 1.5 to 2 years. 2011 build at 2011 prices. I have no idea what the do's and don'ts are on Fodera's end for this type of transaction as far as owning or modding my spec, but as a build slot it is certainly valid.
What the buyers rights are beyond the build slot date (transfer of my spec, my spec with changes and how the money would be etc.) you should contact Fodera directly if that is your intent.

To anyone interested in taking up this slot...you have up until 4 months prior to the build start (so sometime in July as I do not know who is posting this) to make changes to the order, after that no changes can be made but UNTIL that date EVERYTHING about the order can be changed...you could literally change the model, the woods, the scale length, EVERYTHING is in play.
That said, all changes are at current 2011 prices, but prices really have not changed much for the custom instruments since 2009...
Best option is to get the Production Number from the Seller and then get in touch with us directly at the shop at: sales@fodera.com

My build start date is for November 28th, so that would give the buyer until July 28th for complete (Everything) changes mentioned above.
