FS\FT American Std P Bass with John East P-retro

I got this nice 2011 American Standard Precision bass on a trade about 6 months ago. It is a beautiful bass in perfect condition. I traded a 2009 Stingray 4 HH for it since I already had two other standard H Stingray's. I find myself missing the HH more than I thought. Like the description says I have added the John East P-Retro active preamp ($300) to the bass and it sounds great. I still have all the original pots as well. I also installed a Hipshot extender ($70) for those occasional tunes in drop D, I have the original tuner also. I have it strung up with new Dean Markley SR 2000 strings. It has all the hard shell case and accessories. Only trade I'd be up for right now would be another Stingray 4 HH with rosewood fretboard. Or I could let it go for $1100. I think this one has only been gigged twice since I have had it. And maybe a dozen practices or so. I have meticulously cared for it and it is practically a brand new bass. Only very light surface scratches from normal use. You can't see them unless you really really look and the light hits it just right. You all know what I am talking about. So fine you can't even get a picture of it. I am not in a huge hurry to sell, but if the right 4HH came along or a serious buyer comes along I'd let her go..

I'd be interested but I can't go that high. Plus, the action looks crazy high on that bass. I'm looking for no more than $750 for a nice P.

I don't think $750 is a fair price for this bass.. And the action is setup to spec via Fender's setup guide.. I had my local tech adjust the nut and action a few months back and it plays great. Of course action is always subjective.. Good luck finding the right bass for your needs.
