Well, its time for this old girl to find herself a new home. Shes been hanging on my wall for a few years and now I find myself gassin for an upright.

Peavey TL-5 in awesome condition. It has a few scratches on the back from being worn and played but there are no areas where the scratches go through the paint and nothing thats detracts from its beauty. This ones been upgraded with a Bartolini preamp that sounds amazing. The original TL pre comes with the bass as well. This is the first version on the TL with the Super Ferrites. The original Peavey hard case is included in the sale as well as Dunlop strap locks and a red Italia leather strap. Since Ive owned her shes been strung with flat Chromes so theres little fret wear from me and Ive only had it out of the house once. This was my "screw around the house" bass and not my work bass so shes has simply been wall art for the past few years and a bass of this caliber deserves more that that.

Before Im even asked, she weighs in at a stealthy 10 pounds. Im sure if youre looking at this you are familiar with the Peavey TL series so Im not going to bore you with how amazing these things sound and play. They are boutique basses that inherited the Peavey name and unfortunately suffer for it. They are a hidden treasure and if youre in the market for one thats good. But the secrets getting out. The reason I originally purchased this bass was because I was gassin for a Smith. These TL5 have been proven to get that Smith sound and the neck heel is pretty close as well. If you cant afford that 2K price tag, heres your alternative!

Anyway, Im looking for $575 shipped to the lower 48. Paypal only. Discount for local pickup. No trades, Ive got my mind set on an upright. If you need the specs they are here...http://www.peavey.com/assets/literat...s/80300932.pdf

Heres some porn for ya

Great bass here folks! used to be mine(GAS got the better of me). FWIW the Bart upgrade was done by Ron Pace here in Houston, TX. This TL-5 plays and sounds absolutley amazing, you won't be dissappointed. Good luck with the sale.

Brian

I'd like to buy the old preamp for a broken Dyna I have. If you could sell it great! If not, then this message will be for the new owner.
TY.
