FS – Roscoe SKB-3006 Fretted bass

FS – Roscoe SKB-3006 Fretted bass

I just recently did a trade and ended with an extra Roscoe 3006 fretted bass. I really need a good fretted 5 string so one has to go to finance the purchase.
The bass was built in 2010 and is in like new condition. I've also got all the case candy including the Roscoe letter.
The pic's that I took don't do justice to the top and finger board of this bass. Definitely a high grade exhibition top and birds eye maple finger board. The bass sets up with extremely low buzz free action and plays and sounds great. The Demeter preamp just totally kills in this bass! Great finger and slap tones.

Here are the specs:

Roscoe SKB 3006 Fretted
- Ash Body
- Exhibition spalted flamed maple top
- Maple/purpleheart/maple neck
- Birds Eye Maple fingerboard
- 19mm string spacing (bridge currently adjusted to 18.3mm)
- Roscoe Bart Soap bar P/U's
- Demeter 3-band 18V Preamp
- Black Hardware
- Roscoe OHSC (also like new condition).

Price: $2,300 shipped to 48 states

PayPal or Cashiers check

Sorry, absolutely no trades!
I've already purchased a Roscoe LG 3005 to replace this one

Here's some pic's:

Here's a couple of sound clip of the bass:

All bass parts were played using this bass.

Thanks for looking!

Jason! Dammit! You talk Joe into more sales than anybody. You in used car or siding sales?

Bump for I'm unhappy Joe sells his stuff to people who have money when I don't.

God Bless, Ray

This bass is incredible folks. You can set the action so low it almost plays itself. One of the nicest Roscoes I've owned and you can't beat dealing with Joe.

GAS time! If I was a six string player I would be all over this!

Beautiful base Joe! How did I miss you acquiring this?

You might have blinked. For Joe, a Roscoe a day keeps the GAS away.

No sweeter cat on the planet than Joe, and this one just looks like it's got serious music in it. Amazing price on one of the world's finest sixers.

Like Jerry said, amazing price for this bass. Especially when you factor in the Demeter preamp and an El Supremo setup by Joe. I'd be scrambling for cash if I didn't already own a Roscoe 6.

Great wood combination, amazing top, the pictures don't do the fingerboard justice, demeter preamp and when Joe says "low and buzz free" you need to experience it.

If I hadn't picked-up a six fretless a couple weeks ago, I'd be all over this one (it's also "low and buzz free")

Not far from the truth Jason!
I guess that at a minimum it's been a Roscoe a week for the past 3 weeks.

John,
I guess that we haven't talked in a couple of weeks. As you can see, I've been busy!

Someone needs to pull the trigger on this one. I'm starting to consider selling my Tfunk and Berg so I can just keep it .....
I could think of worse things than having 2 fretted Roscoe 6'ers and a fretted Roscoe 5 ...
