Hate to do this but I need to pay myself back for my recent purchase of a Roscoe. This is really a great bass. It's in excellent condition. No major dings or scratches. If you put it under a light your bound to find a few minor dings and scratches, especially on the back, but they're tough to see. It's been upgraded with Bartolini CB pickups and a NTMB 3-band pre. This was quite an improvement over the stock PUs and pre. With the upgrade, it became fatter, fuller, more responsive, and more articulate. None of the growl was taken away. The 3-band Bart pre gives you a lot more control and tonal options.
Action is low with no buzzing. Neck is extremely stable. I've had this bass for a year and have never touched the truss rod. IMO this is one of the most versatile Warwicks out there. It has a tight, yet still full low end, plenty of midrange growl, and a bright top end. One of the better Warwick slap tones IMO.
Specs:
2003 model
Flame maple body
Ovankol neck
JAN II
Bart CBJD1 hum-cancelling dual coil PUs
Bart NTMB pre wired Vol-Vol (stacked), push-pull mids (250 or 800k), bass/treble (stacked) 18V
This comes with the original hardshell case which is in extremely good condition. Looks like it's barely been used at all.
I will include the original active MEC PUs and 2-band pre. I'll also include the Bartolini diagrams/instructions, original knobs, and original battery holder.
Please, NO TRADES.

It's probably the lightest bass I own. My 'Vette Standard fretless is considerably heavier. My scale shows it weighing about 9.5 lbs. Overall, it's probably the lightest Warwick I've ever played, aside from a couple of ash bodied ones I've played at GC.

It picks all the subtle little things I do, like ghost notes and such, much better. The Bart pre blows the MEC pre out of the water too!
Sorry, no trades. I'm only selling this to pay myself back for the purchase of my Roscoe. Really if it wasn't for the 'ol lady I'd just keep it!
