FS '06 CIJ Fender P-Bass Candy Apple Red '57 reissue w/ upgrades

Sign in to disble this ad
I have here an excellent 2006 Crafted In Japan P-Bass in Candy Apple Red. This is a non-export model purchased directly from Japan. It is '57 reissue, and has SD Basslines spb-2 pickup, and a Badass II bridge. This bass is a winner. $650 CONUS shipping/insurance included. You want a Steve Harris sound you got it in this bass. Not exactly stock but just an overall solid player. Schaller straplocks, fully shielded control cavaity. Fit and finish are TOP notch....neck pocket's perfect. I gotta sell this one as I just purchased two basses a Fender Urge I and a Peavey Cirrus. This bass is gr8 but wants and needs differ so this is gotta go. GAS has the better of me!

here is the link to the last seller thread:

2006 non-export MIJ CAR '57 P

***You could see it as very similar to what is out there right now aka the CIJ Fender Precision Steve Harris bass w aluminum pickguard going for $1300. That price is retail not list(another limited run of a Steve Harris model). If you could get that bass it is the second reissue of a Steve Harris bass (check Fender's website).***

This bass comes very very close to that sound if you wanna put flatwounds on it like Mr. Harris. I am sure you can close your eyes, play your favorite Maiden song, and find it sounding on par if not better than what you are looking for.

Comes w a Fender gigbag . Standard width neck for a Precision.

Check the pics action is low .105 -.45 guage strings on it.
This bass is a 9 to 9.5 outta 10 - no noticable dings so I am going to give the bass an overall 9.5 outta 10 for everything: fit, finish, sound, and a 10 outta 10 on construction no missing screws or anything, truss rod is in perfect working order neck is straight and feels gr8 just plug her in and go!!! !!
PayPal preferred local pickup if you live in So. Jersey/Philadelphia area if you choose to do so.
My user name on Ebay is ? email me for that info then you can check my feedback it is %100 as it is here as well.
This bass is as heavy as any other Precision of its day it is balanced nice @ 9.5lbs. I will throw in the guitar strap pictured and a new set of strings. Roundwounds on it right now.
Please check my feedback.

Looking for a 58' Reissue Danelectro Longhorn Pro prefereably blue burst or black burst.

Lanis, the doode, is a very cool doode indeed, so have no fear dealing w/him. Very nice gent.

He speaks well of my ex....and rightfully so....

Thanks Dave I appreciate the vote of confidence. This indeed is a very solid bass better than most P-Basses out there today including some American P's (sorry Fender). The body does not contain the "wood route" from the pickups to the control cavity this is a real Fender body if any are wondering.
Seperate pickup and control cavities no route linking the 2 together. The upgrades are what makes this different from the original reissue '57 that's it.

I have a 57 reissue P body in CAR, with a USA Custom Jazz neck. It sounds great, so bump it goes.

Fender Japan is awesome quality so this one isn't gonna last. bass is still available as of 3/27. Where can you get a Made In Japan Precision for $650 these guys themselves are going for over $900 new and the NEW Steve Harris model if you can get it $1300 so good luck finding a less expensive bass these days and the quality on this beauty is second to none.
