Hey folks, have my MIA Fender 2006 Highway One Jazz Bass up for sale. This was a New-Old-Stock (NOS) when I got it in April of this year. I am the original owner.
This is a Honey Blonde with Rosewood FB. The finish is slightly transparent, so you can see the wood grain. Since this is a 2006 model, it does not have the Grease Bucket circuit, but it has the Badass bridge and Graphite Neck Support Rods. It also has the Fender 60th Anniversary badge on the back of the headstock.
The best part about this bass....only 8.1 lbs!
Sound wise, well sounds like a Fender Jazz! What more can you say!
Right now I have the action fairly low and the neck pretty straight (any straighter it would have a back bow!). The fretwork on the bass is very well done.
The only two issues which are both small, the pickguard has a little mark on it next to the opening for the truss rod from the truss rod tool. Should have taken it off when I adjusted the neck. (oh yea, there is no swimming pool routing under the pickguard, so you can do the ala Jaco look). You don't even notice it unless you look close.
Also right before I wrote this I found a very small dent in the bottom of the bottom horn. No idea where that came from, but it is so small it would be hard to photograph. BUT, just keeping myself honest!
Other than that, there are no marks, scratches or dings on it. It only left the house a few times. I mainly got it to practice on and work on songs in my house.
Comes with all the hang tags and candy and tools. I will ship it in a Kaces Boutique Polyfoam Bass Case which will give you a hell of allot more protection than the cheezy Fender gig bag it came with.
For sale only,
$550 shipped. (Good deal for a USA made Fender) US ship only. Paypal preferred.
