Well, I never expected it'd come to this, but my Jazz Bass has captured my soul and this bass isn't getting any playing time. A year ago I liked this P Bass so much that I bought it new and broke my personal rule about only buying used basses. It's practically in the same condition as the day I brought it home, except that it's been played once in a while over the past year. It's left the house only once for a low key blues jam. There are some light surface scratches on the back of the upper horn that were there when I bought it and the inevitable finger swirls from normal playing and I noticed a couple of dips in the finish on the back that slipped through the Fender QC. The case is one of the new TSA Fender cases and I've got all the case candy that came with it.
It's the classic 3 tone sunburst with tort pickguard and the fingerboard is a particularly nice piece of rosewood. The frets are virtually like new and it's got a new set of Dunlop nickel rounds, .045 - /100 and a Duncan Basslines SPB-2 Hot P bass pickup. It weighs 8lbs. 11oz., so it's comfortable for long gigs.
